Tango DJ... Creating Cortinas

'Sprinkle in the cortinas and stir gently'... says Patrick Laderman. What is a cortina? In Argentine Tango, a cortina is the piece of music played between tandas (3-4 pieces of music) at a milonga (a tango dance). When the DJ plays the cortina, it lets the dancers know that the tanda has has ended, and that it is time to leave the floor.
